Connecting software that doesn't talk

In an industrial SME, software that didn't talk finally connected: a planning issue unsolved for six years became actionable again.

The context
An industrial SME was stuck on a planning issue: several tools, one or more line-of-business systems, Excel files, a planning process, that didn't talk to each other.
The lived pain
The issue had been identified for about six years without ever being unblocked. The data existed, but scattered: turning it into usable information meant handling it by hand. Double entry, reprocessing, dependence on files, and a planning that was hard to trust.
The approach
We didn't start with "which AI?", but with "which decision is stuck today for lack of connected data?". Angle Intelligence framed the right pain point and translated the business need into a data use case; with our sovereign data partner CLIDD, a prototype linked the previously separate sources and produced usable visualisation.
The resultfeasibility proven
No spectacular figure at this stage, but a shift: a problem deemed unsolvable for six years became actionable again. The prototype showed the difficulty wasn't a lack of data, but a lack of connection between the tools.
What it changes for the team
Less re-keying and manual reprocessing, more time to steer the business, and a first concrete proof that data isn't an abstract concept but an operational lever.
The limit, said plainly
A prototype isn't a robust product. Before daily use, you must secure hosting, access, cybersecurity, IT validation and connector maintenance. That's the next step, owned as such.
